So I've been quiet in the last week...but that's because I've been busy having huge adventures in NYC!

Been experimenting with photographing people on my travels. Here are some sneaky shots I took.

A beautiful Saturday

I've never thought of myself as a particularly jammy person but today I got to go to The Royal Opera House to watch the ballet for free thanks to my lovely friend Siobhan and her very kind brother.

The place took my breath away...Siobhan described it as like sitting inside a Faberge egg and that's just it. The ballet (Alice in Wonderland) was truly incredible.

I emerged into Covent Garden feeling thoroughly spoilt and to top it all off, the sun is shining! Coffee on my balcony to finish a wonderful day!

Calm

Recently I've been finding it hard to sleep. My nights have been filled with strange anxiety dreams which leave me feeling uneasy...but amongst that stress, look how beautiful some things can be..!

Mothers Day

Today is always a strange day for me...a chance to remember the most wonderful woman I've ever known, but also a strong feeling much like being turned away from an exclusive club.

This post is in memory of my Mum Nancy who always encouraged my creativity and never clipped my wings...without you, I'd be a very different human being x

Springtime in North London

Spring has finally arrived! Walking through Highbury Fields today I couldn't help but smile...blossom trees, people in the park and spending too much money clothes shopping...ooops! All in all a good day x x

Gothic Horror in N16

Went for a walk in the cemetery this afternoon and some filming was going on so we had to walk around the edge.

Perfect setting for a gothic horror...but strangely beautiful at the same time.
